Julian Country Christmas & Tree Lighting Celebration In the Pioneer Museum Park on Saturday after Thanksgiving in November. This annual event features a visit from Santa Claus and marks the beginning of the annual Julian Country Christmas celebration—three weeks of holiday festivity during which visitors and residents can capture the spirit of the season in an old-fashioned way. December is a magical time of year in Julian complete with wandering carolers, a living nativity scene, and a festive production of “A Christmas Carol” at Town Hall.
